I realized that my Behance and LinkedIn banners weren’t really communicating what I do. They looked fine, but they didn’t say anything. So I decided to create a quick illustration that better represents my day-to-day work.
I drew a character in a style I’m often asked to work in and added some 2D effects that are part of my animation workflow. The goal was to synthesize both the illustrative side and the more technical motion aspect into a single image.
Everything was done digitally in Clip Studio Paint.
I’ll probably update it again in a few months, but the exercise of quickly conceptualizing what I do through one piece was very valuable. Here I’m sharing part of the process.
